2001 Volvo S80 Crankshaft Pulley
I was driving on the freeway and began hearing a squeak sound. Figured my serpentine belt just needed to be replaced. All of a sudden my car loses power and shuts off. I look and find that the crankshaft pulley bolt not only came off, but the pulley it's self nearly came off, but do to the tight space in the engine it was caught between the wall, so it was still attached to the timing belt (thank god). The serpentine belt, being out of alignment, also ripped to shreds. I had to pick out all the pieces. I bought a new bolt and serpentine belt and impact wrenched the pulley back into place along with the bolt, and then installed the new serpentine belt. Went to start the car, but no start. The belts turn, but the engine is not cranking. I have no idea what it might be .

I was going down hill on the freeway when it happened and I decided to let it roll another mile before pulling over. Man I hope I didn't wreck the damn valves.

One second, let me find someone to crank, while I record. But before I do that, when I try to crank, after 4 seconds I hear a one "poof" sound. But I'm going to see if I can get a helping hand with that recording
