Default 2002 S80 T6 2.9 fly wheel removal

are there any instructions diagrams or videos any where of how to replace a fly wheel or what parts have to be removed on 2002 S80 T6 2.9

The transmission has to be removed, of course. I assume you are aware of that? Not exactly a simple DIY job.

Thanks I am not doing it myself the person is professional a friend but never did a Volvo and we didn't take it there and put it on the lift yet was trying to figure out what parts have to be removed if he has to take apart I think its called a frame or something like that

Subframe needs to be removed to get the transmission down

wants the transmission comes out is there enough space to replace th flywheel I having debate with some he says engine has to come out

With the trans out, there is more than enough room to replace the flywheel. A professional would know that.

thank you for that is it common that these flywheels go bad or is it because the starter ruins the fly wheel or the flywheel ruins the starter?

I have been working on Volvo's for a long time. I have never had to replace a flexplate and I haven't seen anyone I work with have to do one either.
