Default 2004 S80 D5 Engine Service System Urgent..

Hi

Driving along a motorway, the "Engine Service System Urgent" message appeared and very soon the car lost power and I pulled onto the hard shoulder. The recovery guy said I'll need to tell the repairer that the car went into 'limp' mode.

I thought 'limp' mode allowed you to limp home? The car refused to fire up, despite switching the ignition off and trying again.

My local repair guy ran his diagnostics but said the codes were not Volvo codes, however they are ...

6805 Boost Pressure Control Faulty Flow
130C Mass Air Flow Negative Deviation
2505 Fuel Pressure, Pressure too Low
2503 Fuel Pressure, Pressure too Low

The operating manual says " Very serious fault messages cannot be erased from the display. They remain in the display until the affected fault is remedied "

When I checked it says " You have 0 messages " ? so does that mean it is not a serious problem, after all?

Has anyone had this same problem and what was the cause?

Thanks - Marek

Please disregard my post which has only just appeared on the forum. The problem was solved back in July
