Default 2004 V70 2.5T Turbo Removal? (To do CBV)

I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a write up (pictures would be awesome, but not necessary) on how to remove the turbocharger. I want to change out the CBV (Compressor Bypass Valve) diaphragm and spring.

I attempted to do this job with the turbo on the car and it wasn't working out. Maybe there's a tool I don't have but I spent about an hour trying to remove it with a friend and only managed to remove one bolt, loosen another one, and just stare and wonder how I was going to get to the third (top) bolt. Even if I did manage to get it off, putting it back on definitely seems tricky. BTW this car is Auto with FWD.

If anyone has a write up on the CBV job or Turbo Removal or can point me in the right direction I would surely appreciate it.

Thanks,
Joe

take manifold off. Be sure to remove exhaust hanger bolts under the car. No need to remove exhaust flange at the turbo, after you take the manifold bolts off it should give you enough movement toward the firewall to get in there.
