240 Dying battery problem/solution
Hey all,
I'm new to these forums and I had to join to point out a problem I had with my 240. My battery kept dying, so I went all the usual routes, battery, alternator, fuses, loose wires. My car kept dying. It was frustrating me to no end. Usually a dead battery/ electrical issue is something I can fix/replace, but this was something I finally had to take to the garage. It was the flywheel to my alternator. It had decayed and was not spinning enough to charge my battery. If you have a similar issue and cannot figure out why your battery won't charge, this might be the culprit. Happy Volvo motoring!
