850 Stalling

Default 850 Stalling

my 1994 volvo 850 non turbo 5 speed is stalling randomly for no reason.. the headlights dim out sometimes when the rpm drop or when the clutch is pressed.. the altenator tested fine off the car but bad in the car.. anyone have any idea what it might be ?

How did the battery test?

the battery is brand new but i just tested it anyway it runs 13 volts so the battery fine i think it might have a bad ground or connection somewhere but i have no idea how to look for it

Who installed the battery? Did they clean the cable connectors real good before they connected them to the battery post?

i installed it and yes i have this steel wool thing made just for that (idk wat its called)

Not sure why the altanator would test bad on the car. Maybe it's bad.
