I have a 2001 S40 with an antenna that comes up every time i put the key in the car. I went into a car wash with my car on (a mistake I know) and it was hit by the car wash. For a while it worked fine but when I turned the car on one day the antenna was hanging down the side. I pulled it out and I was wondering if I can get a better deal if I order off the Volvo site or if going to the store in my city (Louisville) is a better deal. What do you think?

 

ebay. make sure they state that it's an OEM part.

Someplace there is a thread about placing a switch in the circuit so you control when it goes up. Looked simple,but being lazy I didn't try it. Then again, I believe that washing your car is bad for the paint.....

 

Doesn't have to be OEM but I would order from FCP.
