Balancing and Warranty Coverage
Hi all,
I just took delivery of a brand new 2018 S90. It's an amazing vehicle, but one or more of the wheels are out of balance.
While the dealership I purchased from is happy to fix the problem, it's located about 75 minutes away. However, there are multiple local Volvo dealerships located within minutes from me. Considering I took delivery just 5 days ago, would wheel rebalancing be something a local dealership could address as a warranty item? I'd prefer to not have to pay for rebalancing out of pocket or need to drive hours back and forth.
Thanks!
James
PS - I'm new here, so forgive me if I'm posting to the wrong board.

Any Volvo dealership can handle any warranty issues on you new S90. However, to my knowledge, balancing and rotating tires in NOT covered by warranty. I found that out when I had my first service. Now I have all tire/wheel/alignment done at my local tire shop.
