This may have been brought up before. When you replace a water pump, don't buy one with a plastic impeller. It will very likely fail before it's time to replace your timing belt. I speak from experience, I thought for sure I had a blown head gasket due to bubbles from the cooling system. Luckily it did minimum damage since it was winter and it spun a little bit.
