Default Brakes keep needing bleeding

Hello all looking for some advice iv got a Volvo v50 2004 model and for some reason around every 4 weeks I need to bleed the brakes like air has got in the system pedal goes spongy but if I pump a second time goes firm again now I cant see brake fluid leaking anywhere or any obvious signs of a leak can’t see any tiny splits in any visible hoses it’s got good discs and pads all round and has always been well maintained just wondering if anyone knows what it could be any advice/help welcome thanks in advance

It sounds like it might be your "master cylinder" has an issue. They can sometimes have a leak between it and the booster, remove it from the booster and see if there is fluid behind it.
