Can I manually switch stuck blending doors?
Can't get the air to change from defrost to vent. Likely have a vacuum link, I guess, but wondered if I could manually move the blending doors somehow until I get it to the mechanic on Monday?
If you can switch it mechanically, why would you need a mechanic to fix it? I believe you can pull the glove box and switch it, not sure if you can see it from below.
What kind of car do you have?

I've got a 1998 S90.
I was hoping there might be an easy way to manually move the blending door as a short term fix. I was going to still take it to a mechanic because I figured that i didnt have the skills to truly fix the problem such that the dial could adjust the doors.
Thanks for any help.
