Change Volvo name plate to Chevy/Ford???
A weird situation, for sure -- but for serious personal reasons, I need to make it appear that I no longer have my Volvo XC90. (I will not give up my Volvo!) Is there any way to change the Volvo name plate to Ford/Chevy, so at first glance, my car does not appear to be a Volvo? Can this be done?? There is the one name in the front of the car and one on the back, obviously.
You might fool anyone who knows nothing about cars, but too many of us don't need no stinkin' badges to know what a car is simply by the body. Having been in a similar situation where my customers simply would not have done business with me if I were driving a foreign name plate there is only one true solution. Bite the bullet and buy what is acceptable for your situation. You could change the badges, but those in the know will view you worse than if you didn't try to disguise it.
