Default Check Engine Light Off?

I'm driving a 94 Turbo 850. After contacting the original owner, our service records show many attempts at resolving a check engine light going on. You name it he tried to fix it, only to have it come back on. I did the same thing; resetting it and having it come back on. Well yesterday I went to a service station got 91 octane and put a bottle of Chevron Techron fuel treatment in. Well today I was driving and the check engine light went off! Bravo I says! Anybody ever had this happen? I think it's fuel related, but my other side says the light burnt out? Any feedback or comments would be great!

Not likely related at all actually. Do you know what codes were stored?

Default Chk light

Regarding the codes, I will do another code check and write them down. I wrote the older ones but now I will check to see what the current ones read. Should I check A and B side. People say just plug into A2 then repeat until they repeat. I'm more comfy inserting A1 thru A2 and each one. Comments? Suggestions ? The previous owner was super through on everything.

Check with the code reader.

Also, you can check the bulb by turning the key on without starting the car.

Yep did that today. Bulb is fine. Hey, I'm not beating a good thing, so I'm leaving alone. The machine runs really good, when I get more $$ I will throw stage 0 stuff at it, but for now, baby it and enjoy!
