Default chiming when key removed

When I turn key to removal position there is a slight sticking as I go into the final removal position. When I remove the key and open the door, it chimes.

What can I do to fix this. I cannot lock the doors with my remote because of this.

Assuming its a sticking switch, you could try to use some dry graphite lube in the lock cylinder/ignition switch. Replacement of the ignition switch should definitely do the trick, if thats in the cards.

After you pull the key out and open the door, have you tried tapping on the ignition switch? If you do, can you get it to stop? This should tell you if its a sticking switch or a wiring issue somewhere in the ignition. Fuses all good?
