I've searched the forums and don't see an answer for this, but I could use some help. The climate control fan will not turn off, even when the engine is shut off. I have removed the fuse for the climate control fan so I can turn off the car without draining the battery. It appears the **** for the control doesn't work, perhaps it activates a switch? Does anyone know if the ****/switch can be replaced or will I have to replace the climate control unit in the dashboard area? Thanks for any suggestions.

tryingbe, thank you for responding. It's a 2004 V70 Wagon. It has 264,000 miles on it and it has been very dependable.
