Default Help me out :)

Ok so i want to start modding our old family car, it needs lots of work haha. It is a 1990 240dl wagon. The first question is what are the wheel specs if i want to get different wheels? Any ideas of what mods i should do first and where to get the parts? And dont worry cleaning is the first thing....

Rims: boltpattern is 5x108, offset is ~23-25.

what kind of mods you want, power or handling? what is your budget?
IPD swaybars are a must.

do you plan on keeping it NA, or will you eventually add a turbo?

N/A means naturally asperated.
There is not that much out there very cheap for Volvo's.
One other site that is geared more towards the older rear wheel drive cars is turbobricks.com

you're going to want to turbo the motor for more pep. a beefy NA car would be sweet, but it will cost more than a simple (stockish) turbo setup.

for now, start off small. do a stage 0. get the car up to par, then work out where you want to start. Myself, I prefer to start out with suspension, and brakes. Then I will move to slightly more power. check this thread for some aftermarket sites: https://volvoforums.com/forum/general-volvo-chat-5/volvoforums-resources-thread-7317/
you can check IPD and FCP for maintenance stuff as well as performance parts. junkyards is a good place to find upgrades if you know what you're looking for.

Check the forsale section on turbobricks.com
some one is always selling some parts used or new for a decent price.

most of the looks are going to be in the wheels, unless you are crafty with fabrication. there are a few body kits out there, but most will have to be imported from Sweden. Rims will be a great start. check out the other forums forsale sections for rims, or rim ideas.
