I love my car 2004 C70 volvo but for the past week every time I'm at a stop light or paused in traffic my car is smoking from the tailpipe.....never during the drive or accelarting just at stops. ....WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

 

I'm not a mechanic, but i think it means your oil trap system needs cleaned....on my first 850, i was able to reduce the amount of oil burning out the tailpipe by pulling the oil dipstick tube just slightly out(it vents the system). not a permanent fix, but it will reduce the amount of smoke coming out the back...

 

So basically don't have the dipstick fully in all the time??
