2000 C70 HPT smoking from exhaust
Please Help. I have a 2000 c70 hpt with 103000 miles that had been sitting in the garage for about three weeks. I went out to the garage to start it up since it has been sitting and a large bellow of smoke blew out of the exhaust. I let it idle and as it started to warm up it started just blowing smoke out of the exhaust so I just shut it off. It definetely smells like oil but the car was running great before I parked it in the garage. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would check all parts of turbo for carbon build up. Maybe try a can of Motorcraft Additive Friction Modifier to current oil if full and let it idle for 15 to 20 minutes. Then just try driving around the block slowly to see if turbo coking blowes out. Check to ensure all plugs are firing and no fouled cylinders. Good luck! Any oil leak on ground? Around engine head? Then change oil/filter. Idle/drive again.
