hu650 cd will not eject and reads error
I purchased a new cd today and placed it in my cd player. I inserted the cd and it immediately sounded funny. I tried ejecting and it wouldn't and now it's stuck in the cd player and reads cd error. Anyone know of a way to remove it with out spending a fortune at the stealership!! help please any advice will do!

Sorry about the incident; I hate it when it happens.
Usually, modern optical drive devices come with a pin hole on the front face of the player. See if yours has one, and if it does then insert a very small metal (paper clips usually suffice) and lightly push against the face. This would manually release the tray.
If the pin hole is non-existent, try turning on & off the player while pushing the eject button frequently. Light tapping may be necessary.
The last resort would be to disassemble the device. If you're mechanically inclined, this should be a piece of cake but if you aren't, visit an automotive audio shop and let them do the job. You do not need to go to the stealership.
I'm curious as to the brand, as well as in which country it was made at.
I hope this is of some use.
