Default how to eject ecm?

2000 v70xc

according to vadis, a special tool is required to remove the ecm. is there a way to do it without the tool? i have the housing cover and housing removed. there appears to be a pink slide lock but i cannot move it. i do not want to force anything.

You have to slide both of the pink things on each side the same. You can slide one side a little then do the other till it is all loose.
