Default I want to install a K&N intake

Can someone please tell me how to properly install a Air in take kit on a 98 S90? I have heard that it messes up your air mass sensor, but on K&N's websiteI read that it doesn't.help me please!

If you put to much oil on the filter it will mess up the Mass Flow sensor.

I'm kind of new to volvos and thier engines. I've had it for a year or so and love it. How do I "regulate" how much oil goes in my oil filter?

Just follow the directions that come with the filter. I run K & N filters in all my vehicles. They come pre oiled and the box will tell you how much oil to use when servicing the filter (e.g. my sons 850 calls for 1.55 oz. of oil when re oiling. I have them in my daughters Camry, my S60 and Chevy Tahoe and as I said my sons 850 and I've never had a problem with them messing up the MAF sensor.
