I'm new to the Volvo family and I'm wondering if it is possible to lock my car while letting it run? With this heat it would be nice to let it run while I run in and pick up my daughter from day care to keep the car cooler. Even this winter it would be nice to let my car warm up before getting in. Is this possible? I've searched the manual and haven't come across anything. I appreciate any response!

 

I think it's possible, but I admit the exact process is going to depend on just how new it is. Some of us drive cars with keys still, ha ha. I would have to use two keys to do that.

 

Oops, I guess I should have mentioned that. I have a 2013 xc90. So yes, I still have keys.
