Default Looking at a 97 Volvo 850 GLT Turbo

The person wants $2600.

Silver. 'Bout 150K miles. Has early carfax records. New timing belt, water pump and all belts. AC compressor is bad and top of dash is bad but everything else looks really nice.

Thoughts?

Thoughts huh? If you have the money, buy it, if you don't have the money, don't buy it. If the car is needed, buy it, if the car is not needed, don't buy it.

If you seriously want someone's opinion of wheather the price of the car is decent you will need to give a lot more information that what you have. Oh, a link to the ad may help. There are 100 different things that can be a problem with the car. Use the buyer's guide in the 850 DIY thread.

Price doesn't seem bad, however, if you are not a DIY'er, you may want to stay away from the 850.
