I have a 99' S-70 T-5. She's not doing so well as of the last few months.
It has several strange issues that I would like some input on.
-First the car has a leak in the coolant system. I have to give her a drink very often (at least twice a day). I can see there is a breach now in the over flow tank and I believe I see traces of liquid residue where the connector goes into the radiator. If I were to diagnose this I'd presume that the radiator is done.
-Second the car runs rough while idling and has a nasty cough. There is steady smoke coming out of the exhaust and if I hit the gas hard there is a massive black cloud that blows out of the exhaust. (I am not sure if this is related to this but recently and sometimes car sort of jerks into gear particularly while parallel parking and the brake pedal becomes very hard to push but returns to normal in neutral or park). The car is burning through gasoline light a rocket.
-Third the check engine light is on with the the 02 sensor being the culprit.
Any opinions, thoughts and/or useful information would be much appreciated as I have to do some DIY repair work to her to keep her running.
