Hi Everyone!

I know this topic has been raised thousand of times, but I would like to ask if everyone can provide a short description of their own configuration, like what Volvo you have, what cable you use or any special diagnostics hardware, which software, what brands do you recommend or sellers.

I already did some research on the subject and I couldn't find any such place where people say what actually worked for them on the amateur level. It is mostly people barking about VADIS/VIDA, China and how expensive it is buy a dealer grade software. I am looking to create a place for the enthusiasts which just want to know how to connect and read from what their Volvo is complaining, before they go to the auto shop and get charged for 15 things that the car didn't have an issue with
