Hello Guys..

I have VOLVO 850 96 Turbo , Auto transmission . After 500 Km of driving oil leakge start between the engine and the transmission . i checked the oil , it is red . that is mean from the transmission .

I need to know what is the main cause of leaking ?
Is it Oil seal or something else ?

These cars do not have any issues with transmission leaks. You need to check real close and find the source of the leak and get it fixed. It's more common to have a power steering rack leak which does use transmission fluid.

So, check the fluid level in your transmission and power steering system. Checking the fluid level in the transmission is tricky so make sure you use the instructions in the owners manual.

How long have you owned the car?

 

rspi..yes you are right...but by checking the dipstick the shortage only occurs in the transmission .

 

I have followed the instruction on owner manual

 

Is it coming from the drive shaft?
