Problem with seat belt height adjustment?
I have a 2021 XC40. When we try to lower the height of the shoulder strap, the belt no longer “snaps back” when we disconnect it.
When I look closer at the adjuster, the strap appears to get stuck on a bolt when it is at this lower position. It remains stuck when I raise it and I have to pry it loose with a screwdriver!
When I pry it back and move the height back up, everything is fine. It is only when I lower the height that the problem occurs. This is true with both the driver AND passenger belts.
Anyone have a similar problem? Ideas?
Thanks in advance.
