Hello good people,

Been looking for a similar issue on the site and internet for a couple of weeks but nothing's popped up, so...

My Volvo V40 2014 has an issue where the radio and parking sensors can take up to 20 minutes to come on after turn on the car. If I stop for a moment of two once it's up and running it does come on quicker but still never with the ignition. Has been happening for a couple months now, everything else seems to be fine and they work perfectly once they're on but it's frustrating to have to wait for them.

Any pointers on what the issue and if I| could fix it or is it a straight to the garage job?

check the owners manual to see if there's some common circuitry ie a relay servicing both the radio and parking sensors. If so you can check to see if its failing to energize or sticking.
