Rear Control Arm Leakage 2003 Volvo S80
I have a 2003 Volvo S80 Non Turbo and I have been seeing some oil leakage coming from the area to the right of the driver side rear tire. Today, I managed to crawl up under the left rear of the car and can see what I would call "leakage" of oil from a bushing that is attached to what I will call a "control arm?"
Question, is there oil in this "control arm" and does it mean the bushing only needs replacement or the entire lower control arm? It is only leaking on the left (driver) side, the right side (passenger) looks dry. Is this in fact some sort of control arm?

I took a look and nowhere on this end did I see where oil should be...
now if it is coming from a bushing it could be grease in the bushing and if it's leaking it may be overfull, going bad, or bad already...
if you were to post a picture of exactly that part I could get more specific but from what you described it sounds like it shouldn't have oil in it.

Okay I will try and get back under there and take a pic. I do think it is a bladder type thing where grease may be leaking. I don't see a Zerk fitting there.
