rear power window just stoped working

Default rear power window just stoped working

Hello

I recently just had an stereo put in by quality auto sound and a day later notice that both my back rear power windows are not working but both the front ones work fine i have 2004 volvo xc90 do you think they could have blown a fuse or something ???

They COULD have done anything. Or nothing. Since you suspect a fuse I am wondering if you have checked this possibility yourself.

Left side of the dash, open drivers door. # 7 controls both back doors - as well as the Child Safety Locks. If those aren't working either then you most likely have diagnosed the problem.

It's a 30 A fuse and you should have a spare in the box. It's possible that something happened during the install and, if it was momentary, then a new fuse should fix it up without a return trip to the audio shop. Otherwise they my have left something shorting, that of course will simply keep blowing the fuse so is an easy observation to make and you will want to return to have them donate their labor. Unless they were placing speakers in the doors I can't see a short there. Did the wire it into the fuse panel? lot of wires to mess with there.
