I'm the proud owner of a new V90 Cross Country, and now I'm trying to decide whether or not to spend $3287 to extend the 4/40 warranty to 8/80. I don't drive a whole lot -- maybe 8k miles a year -- so I wouldn't likely hit the mileage limit. But there is a good chance I'll keep the car more than 4 years.

I am wondering if 1) I can negotiate much on this warranty price; and 2) if I really need to spend the money.

Anyone know much about the reliability of the V90, and in general the value of the Volvo extended warranty?
