S60 to get extended warranty or not?
I am asking for some opinions. I have a 2002 Volvo S60 with 49,000 k miles. I am wondering if I should extend the warranty? I have just had the 45k service and although expensive , everything seems to be running well. Any suggestions?
Ps I am assuming that the extension will cost alot of $$$$$

I.m.o. buy, buy, buy!!! My car's extended warranty was a few weeks old when the ECU died. Had the ECU replaced, latest software loaded & throttle body cleaned out. Cost around £700 including tax, warranty came "free" with the approved used Volvo from main dealer. Most other things that could go wrong in next 10.5 months are still covered as well.
When this warranty expires in a little over 10 months time, I will buy another 12 months for £399.
Hope you make the right choice, whatever it is.

Extended warranty is not a bad thing to have. In case something happens to your car, you will be glad that you bought it. Also get it if you are planning to do any modifications.
