Relay works but aint gettin no currrent to my injectors
I have a 91 740 GLT... thought I had a Relay problem but that was not the problem, both units click when I set the key on 2...anyhow, I read up on the problem alittle and found that one part of the Relay sends a signal to the fuel pump while the other sends a signal to the injectors... I get nothing when I turn the key, just the dash lights turn on....I hear the Relay click but nothing, I checked the wiring in the engine compartment and I had Oxidation at every terminal... well I spent the day cleaning up the passenger side harness connectors...thinking I had a connection problem, its the end of the day and I still got no nothing... could it be the Computer? it has a new coil, new sparkplugs n wires, new starter, battery gives me 12.64 volts...dont know what else to do...please help me out if you can..
check your fuse for your fuel pump to make sure that the fuse has not blown, however it you hear a relay clicking that could be the sign that the relay is bad...that could be one of the issues...not saying it is but it is a good place to start! post your findings....with everyone here on this site I am sure that we can help solve your problem! good luck
