Default Replacement of defective radio

I have a 2007 XC70. I was led to believe by a 30 year in business reputable mobile stereo installation co. ( after a diagnostic? test no less) that a lack of sound from a front speaker was a SPEAKER problem. I elected to replace all speakers with new Rockford Forsgate speakers, problem is this did not fix the problem. So THEN they tell me its a radio/stereo problem... well the thing is I want an iPod jack (On the unit) any way so a change was coming... Thing is I don't want some mismatched trim color, flashing multicolored lights etc etc aftermarket abortion in my car. Question; Does anyone have a lead on a top shelf, elegant fit of a radio/stereo unit? Suggestions on where to look and an approach to take would be appreciated . Thanks, Oh! ALSO does anyone have a competitive retail source for the " refer to dealer" transmission fluid that I have been unable to find at my auto supply companies?

do u have a p2 or p3 xc70?? if it is a p2, i know there is a aftermarket bracket that u can install to fit the aftermarket radio. but before all that, u want to solve that speaker problem first. find out if there is a amp under the right front seat, if it is then there is a possible that it may be a faulty amp. with the trans. fluid, i recommend oem fluid since your car is still new.
