I've used Royal Purple full syn oil in all my cars for a long while. Anyone see any problems using it in my XC70? I've heard that once you use it, you can't ever go back conventional????

 

Why would you go back to conventional oil? If you use it,then keepusing it. The more you give to your engine, the longer and better it will run.

 

Shouldn't be any issues with using it.

I am using full synthetic Mobil 1 and love it. I would never go back to regular oil.

 

Well that saying never going back is meant for ALL Synthetic OIL..Once you go full Synthetic you can never go back to conventional "fossil fuel" oil...The two aren't interchangeable since Synthetic is NOT carbon based.I will say that Synthetic is better for your car, especially in "extreme Climate Zones" like here in Florida. Not only that but you can usually go 5k between Oil Changes. Royal Purple makes Exellent OILS. I have always ran it on my Motorcycles.
