Hey new here, i used to own 1999 Volvo s40 T4 manual, it was pretty fast for being stock, reliable and good to drive! but i made the mistake of selling it! regret it.. but now i'm considering S80 T6 Geartronic FWD, is that car equal as fast as the s40 t4? is it as reliable? i know it's heavier but it also has more HP. it's also not gonna handle as good i think because weight..

 

No. Get the S40 or a T5 S60 or even a 2.5T S60.

 

The S80 and XC90 T6's are not reliable. A million little problems plus the transmission is not very good.

 

You won't like the S80 if you loved your S40. It is a big luxo boat and not nimble at all. +1 for another S40 or an S60, but I would avoid a T5 in the S60. Better performance but compromised reliability.
