I just purchased a 2006 S60 with 50K miles. I have had it for a week now. About 5 times, the car has been very slow to start after turning the key over. I had to try a couple of times before it actually started. Most of the time it starts just fine. I have found no real pattern as to when this occurs. At first, the dealer said the computer just needed a software update. That did not make sense to me, and sure enough it did not fix the problem. The fact that it is infrequent, there is no computer code, and it cannot be readily duplicated, the dealer is telling me there is nothing they can do. I feel this problem will not just go away, it will likely just get worse later. Any thoughts? The dealer tells me it could be one of many, many different things. I did purchase the extended warranty. Don't they have to fix it?
