Hello fellow Volvo fans!
My 2001 V40 has a slow start problem when engine is cold.
It starts after a bit of cranking and sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries
The battery is about 1.5 year old. If the fan is on you can immediately smell gasoline.
This only happens whe the car is cold in the morning. Other times starts righ away...
What could be the problem?
I have a second Volvo, 2001 S40 has a new battery and starts OK.
