Hello all,
I am seriously considering the purchase of a 2007 S40 2.4i with 137000KMs (85000Mi) in the next couple of days.

The car has been kept in immaculate condition. I have driven it and it drives very well, except for a slight shimmy in the steering at 100kph. It is thought to be an issue with balancing the wheels.

I am looking for your advice please. From anything from whether this is a sound purchase to what to watch out for as this vehicle ages.

Simply put, I am looking forward to being a Volvo owner, and I can't say how deeply I appreciate your advice as I proceed.
