I have seen bad injectors.
Also do a compression test on that cylinder.

$1,100??? Wow! I guess that's why we call them the stealer. Call and talk to the service manager if you haven't already. Foreign car dealerships do not want you going around town whinning about your service at their shop.

Other than that, have you or they checked to make sure the wires going into that coil are good? Sometimes they back out of the connector and cause a poor connection.

they have had the car twice now and they have put in new coils and ck wires for shorts. I asked them to ck fuel inject. and compression wiitch they didn't. This is a
intermittent missfire. they clear codes and if car runs with no codes the tech says
must be good to go. WRONG....

Alot of times the Tech's do not want to take time to drive it and get it to act up.
At our shop we are salary and not flat rate. We also really try to make the customer happy.

On cars like this we have put 50 miles on cars driving them to figure them out. We have had customers ask for them back because we have had them for a while driving them and they would not act up.

I am thinking maybe an injectors is acting up when the car is hotter.

Well, the wires may not have a short, but may have backed out of the coil plug wire connector a little and may not be plugged on 100%. My 960 use to do this, mostly while sitting in a parking spot ideling. Maybe once per week or once per month. I took the wires and made sure there was enough slack to stay plugged in all the way and the problem has not returned.
