Question What is this part called? ('95 Volvo 960)

Finally figured out where my coolant leak is coming from, but have no idea what the part is called to replace it. Had a guy from Kragen take a look at it and he said he didn't know what it was but suggested that "maybe it used to be a hose". Looks like a rubber end piece with a metal zip-tie securing it.

Bought the car about a year ago and it seems to have a lot of half-assed fixes that I'm just now getting around to re-fixing, but I'm losing about half my tank of coolant each week so I'm hoping someone knows what the part is... pictures attached, part circled.

Thanks for your help!

that might be remnants of a return hose that goes to the coolant reservoir?

It's capped for a reason. It's not used on all vehicles, Volvo uses the same radiator for multiple vehicles.

Get a cap off hose from AutoZone or somewhere. The one that was there has started leaking from being clamped to tight or something. Be extra careful not to break your radiator when removing the old one, they get pretty brittle. Take the clamp all the way off then cut the old one off. DON'T TWIST.
