I must previce this MSG and give credit to Popular Mechanics Magazine's PMAUTOCLINIC:

There are some folks here that think you cannot change from Synthetic Oil to Conventional Oil or back again.

In the current Issue (JULY 09) of Popular Mechanics there is an article dealing specifically with this issue. A good read for anyone who thinks it is a Bad Idea to do so.

Ah thats just a myth u can switch it, no diff than running unleaded gas one week and midgrade the next.

 

I tend to only use Conventional Oil.
