is there such thing as having to big a rim?
Hi guys,
My question is that i want to get 17- 18' rims on my 1995 volvo turbo. however, i talked to my mechanic and he said that the wheel might not fit or i can't turn correctly. is this true? if so i will be highly disappointed. I'm also selling a set of original volvo turbo rims (16') for 500.00. if anyone is interested please contact. i need more info on the biggest rim size i can use.

Welcome to the forum.
Yes you can go too big. But that happen when you go 19"+.
17" and 18" rims will fit your car. I am assuming you have an 850 sedan and or wagon.
17" rims should fit with no problems at all.
18" rims should fit nicely and possibly have some slight rubbing issues at full lock.
Personally I wouldn't go over 18" at all. The choices are slim pickings and the ones that are available are just ugly. Not to mention you will have problems with bigger then 18" rims.
