I have a 1994 Volvo 850 Non T. One of these day I'm getting an 850 R. Anyway my trans has been slipping; I've done all of the other stuff and my gut says S1 solinoid. After the flush and fill, in the morning my car shifts smoothly, but then after it warms up it won't engage, like it did before, so I go back to clicking my switches and utilizing this method. After the flush and fill it is smoother between the shifts, but I still have the skipping 1 st gear deal. So! I just added(- )a quart of fluid I removed prior to adding 16oz of Trans X fluid to my dipstick. I've started the car, went through my gears, and will go for a test drive tomorrow. I'll post how things went and go from there.
