Hi,

Just got a V50 (my 5th Volvo)
Purchased OEM fog lamp kit and have appt to have software upgrade on Saturday at local dealer.

Can I swap out the headlamp/foglamp switch module prior to driving to the dealer. Will my headlights/ gas door opener still work?

Should I just put in the lamps and wait until I get to dealer to swap out the switch module?

The dealer, or at least the service mgr said they will, if not too time consuming, swap the switch module during software plug-in appt.
The lamps went in slick.
OEM rules.
