Hey guys! First post on this forum, but I just encountered something and I was hoping somebody had an answer. See, I'm familiar with the tri-digit naming for the older volvos, being model, cylinders, then door #. So today, just browsing through craigslist, I found a Volvo 780, but the seller claims it has 6 cylinders. Did a little reading on Wikipedia and it says the 780 has a V6, confirming his story. If that's true, then why is it called the 780?
