VOLVO 850 T5 YEAR 1994 COOLING FAN RELAY
Hi guys,
just a quick question,iv'e put threads on before about my T5, it smokes when left to idle longer than usual.
iv'e found that keeping the engine temp just below normal the car will sit and idle all day with no smoke at all,i wired a simple toggle switch to the radiator cooling fan and activate as and when needed usualy only in stop start traffic conditions.
at this moment in time my finances won't allow me to start delving into and purchasing various parts to cure the smoking, so i'm happy at the moment just to switch the fan on as and when needed from my little switch on the dashboard.
so now to my question, i want to take the heavy current load off the switch and wire it to the fan relay.
so on the assumption at the moment i was using two wires say from the battery + - where would i attach the wires to the relay via my switch of course.
thanx for any offers of info in advance.

I would have to find the diagram and look.
Why not just install an aftermarket relay for now till you get it fixed. That might be easier.

If you look on that site they have some info on wiring regular relays. You should be able to dig one up pretty easy.
