Volvo Cars App - remote start - preheating & precooling
I just purchased a 2021 Volvo XC60 Inscription. I used the Volvo Cars App to remote start the vehicle the other day to heat up the cabin. The vehicle started and was running when I opened the door. But, the fan wasn't on and it didn't feel warm. The steering wheel was heated. It was approximatley 42 degrees outside. I had left the fan on high the night before when I drove the vehicle last. Other vehicles that I would remote start kept the same climate settings at whatever I left them at. If I can't have the cabin heated or cooled from remote start, the Volvo Cars App is not worth the money to me. I thought the Volvo salesman told me that the remote start would use 72 degrees as the temperature setpoint whether pre-heating or pre-cooling..
What do I need to do to pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin using the app?

Been a while since I was here!
My dealer says that cars only driven occasionally for short distances will have problems due to low battery, even though the battery isn't very low. If the battery gets a little low (i.e. has not had enough drive time to get to maximum charge), the battery can still be strong enough to start the car but other things choose to wait for full charge.
Or something like that!
