Hey everyone i have a question about the intercooler on 2005 v50 t5, i would like to put an uprated one on, but there is a small sensor on the driver side of the intercooler(not sure what it is for) is it possible to leave it unplugged with out any adverse affects?

It might be a pressure sensor.

You should be able to upgrade it. Just move the sensor into the intake piping.

Wait for the experts to get on.
