Hi all,

I see many threads lamenting Volvo's integration of Android Auto and Apple Car play, being that it takes up very small portion of available screen real estate, essentially rendering the map useless. The new XC40 recharge has launched running Android Automotive which allows for full screen Android Auto and for in driver dash Android Auto navigation.

Has anyone heard any rumors of Volvo planning to expand Android Automotive to its other products? I have a 2021 XC40 and would love to know if I can expect it in the near future.

 

As far as I know, it will not be able to be retrofitted.
